How to Use VibeResearch
Upload your dataset, clean variables, choose analyses, and export reproducible reports — without any coding.
The VibeResearch workflow
Upload data
Import CSV or Excel files and preview your variables instantly.
Prepare variables
Recode, rename, create groups, and handle missing values.
Run analysis
Choose from descriptive stats, t-tests, regression, survival, and more.
Export results
Download R scripts, Stata do-files, SAS programs, and a full reproducibility bundle.
Step-by-step guide
A. Upload your dataset
Drag and drop a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file into the workspace. VibeResearch reads column names and infers variable types automatically.
After upload, select a dataset as active and preview its variables in the Data Workspace panel.
Supports CSV, XLSX, SPSS (.sav), Stata (.dta), and SAS (.sas7bdat) formats.
You can upload multiple datasets and switch between them.
File size limits depend on your plan.
B. Prepare and clean data
Use the Prepare panel to clean and transform your dataset before analysis. Every step is recorded and exported in reproducibility scripts.
- 1Rename column headers to meaningful names
- 2Recode or merge categories
- 3Create age groups or custom bins
- 4Handle missing values (drop rows, fill with constant, mean, or median)
- 5Create computed variables from expressions
- 6Encode categorical variables for regression
C. Run analysis
Select an analysis from the Analysis panel. VibeResearch validates your variable types before running and highlights any issues.
- Descriptive statistics and frequency tables
- Independent t-test / One-way ANOVA
- Chi-square and Fisher's exact test
- Pearson, Spearman, and partial correlation
- Linear and logistic regression
- Kaplan-Meier survival and Cox regression (Researcher plan and above)
- Meta-analysis and SEM (Advanced plan)
D. Use the Research Assistant
The AI Research Assistant helps you choose the right analysis for your variables, interpret results in plain language, and suggest next steps.
VibeResearch is designed to use variable names, analysis settings, and summary statistics for AI guidance. Reproducibility exports do not include raw data rows.
E. Save and export results
Completed analyses are saved automatically and viewable in the Results Library. From the Workflow Export panel you can download:
- HTML workflow report — a printable summary of all steps
- R script (workflow.R) — complete reproducibility code
- Stata do-file (workflow.do)
- SAS program (workflow.sas)
- Reproducibility bundle (.zip) — all files in one download
